Microsoft is keeping it a big secret on “Origami” (http://www.origamiproject.com). Well till know no one had any idea what the hell origami is but now due to this stupid ad agency who are running the ad campaign have given it away. I will not say more have a look @ it for yourself to know more @ www.d-kitchen.com; Enter the main site; Go to “Work”, then “Brand Theater”.
This will be my next gizmo if I get to know its technical spec and the price. I guess I will have to wait till 02-Mar-06.

Make money out of pictures you have. How does that sound? Well if I can make money of pictures I have and don’t have to share my family’s or my identity then why out. Well if you feel the same then the stock photos are for you. Mr. Jaggi (My dads close friend) as already made about US $190 of photos / pictures / pics and I guess half of them are from my collection and pictures I have clicked.
Each time a user downloads your photo, 20 cents are added to your earnings, its that simple. You might be wondering whats in it for the service provider, well he makes money too. He sells the same pictures to the buyers for a higher price or subscription for the site for a price.
For you all this is free and will take a bit of your time and why waste a photo when photos that would normally be sitting on your hard disk can make money for you!

QWERTY keyboard layout, Why? :-| February 8, 2006

Have you ever wondered – why are keyboard layout like how it is now. Well this question struck to to me today when I was struggling to type this huge anlysis document and it was hard for me to type it faster. So when I took break from this doco I reseached on it -
“In 1872, Remington produced the first mechanical typewriter, patented by C. Latham Sholes. Soon typists were going so fast that they were able to jam the keys which flew up to hit the typewriter ribbon. In the late 1870’s: the “improved” Qwerty layout was designed to slow down typing, so those pesky keys would not jam anymore. Can you beat that, we are using a 130 year concept which was designed to make us slow in typing. I must say it is pretty well doing its job of making my typing slow and inacurate.

Super Bowl XL February 7, 2006

This was the 1st ever super bowl I have ever seen, actual it is the 1st ever american football game I watched start to finish. Oh! boy what a game it was to watch. My friend Bryan took to me to this Super Bowl party @ his friends place. They had about four TV in differenet rooms and one big screen projector throwing the game on a wall. Boy I loved watching the game there. Everyone in the group where cheering for Steeler which is suppose to be my good old friend Jonathans’ team. I felt sad for Sea Hawk and well they did pretty weel the 1st half. The game was interesting till the end of 3rd quarter. In the fourth quarter the steeler were the known winners. I guess Jonathan would have enjoyed every bit of the Steelers win and would have partied the whole night. I guess he must be hangover till now as he as not returned my call.
Anyways I would be looking forward for next years super bowl this time around. I hope it will be broadcasted to India.
